Black and White v. Color

We are forced
To sing and rejoice.
We are forced
To worship those
That supposedly shine.

We are treated like dirt,
Damsels in distress,
So it's time to fight back.

Leave the kingdom,
Find our own way.
Work through the dragons,
The ones sent by those we praise.

A deal has been made,
With our knights,
And the night.

Oh our wonderful,
Beautiful,
Shining knights.

They are perfect…
They are strong…
They are beautiful…
They are heroes…

No!

They are flawed,
They are weak,
They are ugly,
They are our enemies.

So no longer shall we cower
Under those that are false.
Those that command us,
Shall no longer hide behind our fears.

For we are who we are.
We are who we must be.
We are different.
We are unique.


And they…

They are all alike,
Black and white.
Only those that are true
To themselves and others,
Show they are colored.

For those that say
They are in charge.
Are just playing with our minds.
For colors rule
Over black and white.
